Face of Betrayal by Lis Wiehl with April Henry

Face of  Betrayal- A Triple Threat Novel is an awesome book. Its about 3 friends, a prosecutor, a reporter, and an FBI agent who work on cases together. The case they are doing is a missing girl Katie Converse. She goes missing while home on Christmas break from the Senate Page program. They find her my space account and her enteries start to lead them to looking at a Senator. As the senator is the focus of the investigation but they haven't found her or a body. The book is fast moving and not just deals with the case but deals with life. A woman who couldn't get pregnant but finally does, a single mom, and a victim of domestic abuse. The domestic abuse is not just a woman who is victim but also addresses a man as a victim of domestic violence.  The book also looks at politics and the corruption in politics and family dynamics of step parents and their role. The books reminds me of The Women's Murder club just with the 3 friends but is definitely different. The book is well written and I recommend anyone who likes mystery type books to definitely read it. MUST READ. Couldn't put the book down.  Can't wait for the next book to come out. Excited to see what Lis Wiehl comes up with in the next book of the series.

I review for BookSneeze
