Heart Failure By Richard L. Mabry M.D.

I received this book from Booksneeze.com's blogger program for no charge in exchange for my honest review of this book. The opinions expressed here are my own.

Book Description:

When her fiancĂ©’s dangerous secrets turn her work upside down, a beautiful doctor must choose between her own safety and the man she loves—and thought she knew.
Dr. Carrie Markham’s heart was broken by the death of her husband two years ago. Now, just as her medical practice is taking off, her fresh engagement to paralegal Adam Davidson seems almost too good to be true . . . until a drive-by shooting leaves Carrie on the floor of his car with glass falling around her.
When he confesses that Adam isn’t his real name and that he fled the witness protection program, Carrie is left with an impossible choice: should she abandon the fiancee she isn’t sure she really knows, or accept his claim of innocence and help him fight back against this faceless menace?
While Carrie struggles to decide whether to follow her heart or her head, the threats against them continue to escalate. Her life—as well as Adam’s—depends on making the right choice . . . and the clock is ticking.

My Thoughts:

Heart Failure is the latest book of Richard L. Mabry M.D. and it is spectacular. Dr. Carrie Markham has put her life back together since her husband's death. She has her medical practice and her fiancee, Adam Davidson. A drive by shooting puts her life back in shambles as she finds out Adam is not who he says he is. Adam tells her his story, claiming innocence in the situation now she must decide if she will stand by "Adam" to fight this or walk away.

Heart Failure is the second book of Richard L. Mabry's I have had the pleasure of reading. As a fan of medical suspense books, this one caught my attention right away.  Richard Mabry, M.D. delivers  an exciting mystery suspense novel with an intimate  look into the medical profession. Richard Mabry has a unique ability to tell both sides of the story- the doctor and the patients perspective. From the start Heart Failure grabbed my attention and held on to it throughout the whole story.  I found myself unable to put this book down and it kept me guessing all the way to the end.  Richard Mabry M.D. writes a thrilling mystery with God being the center of his characters lives. This book has a little bit of everything. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Suspense Fiction, especially medical suspense. You will not be disappointed! I look forward to reading more by Richard Mabry MD. I give this book 4.5 Stars.
